Drop offs with WMWC

We are still looking for our "forever home" so animal admits are being run on a meet-up basis once daily. Location is subject to change. Please be sure you speak to a team member before heading to the meet location!

Please note: You will be meeting with one of our Rehabbers or one of our volunteers: Allyson, Alesha, Jayne, Robin or Dan. There will be other people (typically 10-20) meeting at that location/time as well. Intakes lasts for 15 minutes and our volunteer will leave promptly after the window is complete.

Have your animal secured in a box or carrier for transport.

There will be a short form at drop off or you can download and print the form to complete it prior to your arrival

Where & when to meet

Our meet location is a designated location and time. Please consult the list below:

Friday December 5th at 5:00pm at - Parking lot of Faith Community Church at 2600 Seventh St NW Grand Rapids, MI 49504 *Please choose the larger of the two parking lots (the red area marked below) and wait in your car and we will be there at the listed time.

Why a "public meet" location?:

We use a public meet up location to discourage individuals from leaving a boxed animal outside of our center when no one is on-site to receive them. It is not safe for animals to be left unattended where predators, high temps, etc. can be life-threatening while boxed. We also require information about the animal at drop-off to better their care with us. Thank you for understanding!
